When Selling As-Is May Be Smarter
If the house needs major renovation anyway, sometimes the smartest move is to skip the full estate sale process and sell the property as-is to an investor or renovation buyer.
That’s not always the highest price path, but it can be the best net decision when you factor in time, stress, holding costs, and the amount of work involved.

- Are there valuable contents worth selling?

- Does the family need speed more than top dollar?
