On a quiet morning in Lake Clarke Shores you can walk the trail at Town Hall Park, then drive a few minutes to Forest Hill Boulevard, the town's main business corridor, for errands. The town sits beside Lake Clarke, between West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach.
As of October 23, 2026, MLS data shows six active listings in Lake Clarke Shores, ZIP 33406, plus two more that are active under contract. The six active asking prices run from $314,900 for a townhome to $1,850,000 for a single-family home, with a middle price of $1,000,000. With only six homes, that middle number moves a lot when one listing changes, so treat it as a snapshot.
Price per square foot depends on which group you count. Across all eight listings (six active plus two under contract), the average comes to about $443 per square foot of living area. Across the six active listings alone it is about $467. Double-check the listing you are interested in, because prices and status change daily.
It is a small town of about 1,500 homes and 3,564 residents (2020 census), with five town parks and the lake. Our buyer guide shows what to ask before you tour.

The Town of Lake Clarke Shores runs five parks, open sunrise to sunset: Town Hall Park at 1701 Barbados Road (tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds, walking trail, butterfly garden), Community Park at 1700 Carandis Road (half basketball court, walking trail, outdoor gym, open field), Pine Tree Park, Memorial Park, and Boat Ramp Park at the east end of Barbados Road. The boat ramp needs a town permit and proof of current trailer registration. Pavilions at Town Hall Park and Community Park can be rented. Source: Town of Lake Clarke Shores welcome packet, revised February 2023, so confirm current rules and fees with Town Hall.
The town has its own police department, and Palm Beach County Fire Rescue handles fire and rescue. The town water utility serves about 700 homes and businesses. Other addresses are served by Palm Beach County or Palm Springs utilities, so ask which provider a home uses. Garbage, recycling and bulk trash are handled by Waste Management under a town contract.
There are no public or private schools inside the town limits, and assignment depends on the address. The school fields on the eight current MLS listings (pulled October 23, 2026) show a north and south split:
Forest Hill Community High School is just outside the town on Forest Hill Boulevard, about 1.4 road miles from Town Hall (estimate). The county reports these fields from its own data, and boundaries can change, so before you offer on a home, confirm the assigned schools for that address with the School District of Palm Beach County (district boundary map catalog). We did not run an address lookup for this page. We list schools as facts, not as a reason to choose a home.
Forest Hill Boulevard (State Road 882) is the main commercial corridor, and the town is mostly residential. Distances below are road miles measured from Town Hall at 1701 Barbados Road on October 23, 2026, using OpenStreetMap routing. Drive times are estimates and change with traffic.
We did not verify a specific urgent care, grocery, restaurant or house of worship list for this page. Tell us what you need nearby and we will check the exact address with you.
The town was incorporated in 1957, and the active listings reflect that: homes built between 1957 and 1990 in neighborhoods such as Lake Clarke Heights, Lake Clarke North, Palm Ridge Estates, Lake Clarke Waterway Estates, Mango Lake and Estates of Lake Clarke Shores. None of the current listings is new construction. There is one townhome, in Wellesley at Lake Clarke Shores.
Square footage here is living area from MLS data. Nothing is actively listed between $700,000 and $1,300,000 today, so the price you pick decides which kind of home you are shopping for. A house gives you the lot and the control, and the repairs that come with them. The townhome costs far less, and its association usually looks after part of the exterior, so ask what it covers before you offer. We did not pull sold prices for this page, so we are not quoting a sale-to-list gap.
Hire a licensed professional to do a full home inspection on any home you are serious about. Ask separately about a wood-destroying organism (WDO) inspection, a wind mitigation inspection and a four-point inspection. They are different reports, and your insurer and lender will tell you which ones they want for that home. On older homes, ask about the roof, electrical panel, plumbing and any work done without a permit.
Most buyers have a home to sell first. We can price yours today and plan both moves together, so the timing of the sale and the purchase works for you.
