Walk the exact plan you are considering, or study its dimensions carefully when a model is unavailable. Bring furniture measurements and test the bedroom arrangement against an ordinary week at home.
Summit plans: living area and total area
These are GL Homes' advertised build-from prices checked October 24, 2026. They are not an all-in quote for a specific homesite. Ask separately about lot premiums, options, fees and available incentives.

Compare rooms, garage space and the complete quote
Summit starts with a larger base plan, while Pinnacle spans a broad range of sizes. Their ranges overlap, so compare the specific layouts rather than assuming every Summit home is larger than every Pinnacle home. Put bedrooms, work areas, garage bays, lot dimensions and total monthly costs side by side.
Tour the facilities you expect to use
GL Homes now describes the Apex clubhouse as open, with pools, fitness facilities, sports and gathering spaces. Ask which facilities your address includes and what costs are additional. A nearby golf course does not mean golf membership is included with the home.
Use the Avenir master-development guide for the wider setting. Confirm school assignment by the exact address, and check the status of shops and other planned facilities before making them part of your daily routine.

What to verify before buying in Apex at Avenir - Summit Collection
Confirm current base pricing and available inventory directly with GL Homes, since this is an actively selling luxury collection and pricing moves with lot premiums and early move-in availability. Confirm current HOA fees and CDD assessments, since they can differ from the Pinnacle Collection's structure. Given the price point and size of these homes, also confirm resale comparables through MLS : Summit is newer and higher-priced than Pinnacle, so closed-sale history may still be thin.
