PopStroke West Palm Beach: Tiger Woods’ Upscale Mini-Golf Lands in the Heart of the County

Two designer mini-golf courses, six bars, a kids’ playground, jumbotron leaderboards, and a VIP lounge with Nobu-trained sushi chefs — PopStroke’s flagship near the airport is what happens when the golf capital reinvents putt-putt. The story, the experience, and what it says about where this county is headed.

Palm Beach County’s mini-golf grew up. PopStroke West Palm Beach — the entertainment venture co-owned by Jupiter Island’s own Tiger Woods — opened its flagship in December 2024 at 2429 Perimeter Road, off Belvedere just west of I-95 on land leased from Palm Beach International Airport. It joined the Delray Beach location (open since late 2023) and instantly became one of the county’s most central gathering spots: part golf, part backyard party, part resort.

What’s Actually There

Per the Palm Beach Post’s opening coverage, CEO Greg Bartoli previewed a complex built for roughly $20 million — and it shows:

  • Two 18-hole courses by a professional golf-course designer — real-course challenges in miniature, with white-turf “sand” traps, contoured hills, a special challenge hole, and tropical landscaping with misting fans throughout
  • Tech-forward play: An app runs your scorecard onto jumbotron leaderboards — and delivers drinks straight to your spot on the green; TaylorMade, a partner in the venture, supplies special-edition balls guests keep as souvenirs (putters included with a pass; premium TaylorMade rentals available)
  • A two-story restaurant and amenities building: Family-friendly American menu downstairs opening onto a fenced playground, an ice cream parlor, six bars, cornhole, and giant screens — ages “three to 93,” as the company likes to say
  • A genuinely surprising VIP tier: A members’ lounge with a swimming pool, cabanas, and lockers — and sushi flown in from Japan, prepared by chefs with Nobu résumés, per Bartoli; a second-floor event space hosts up to 100 for parties and corporate gatherings, and the whole venue can be bought out for private events

Bartoli’s description to the Post captured the design brief: no windmills, no clowns — a beautiful environment meant to feel “like a backyard party,” built to showcase-property standards in a county he noted is full of world-class resorts. Opening-era pricing ran about $30–$35 for an all-day pass depending on the day, with child and senior discounts, a ~$30 monthly unlimited membership, and a $5,000-per-year VIP tier with fast-pass course access.

The Backstory — a Jupiter Story Through and Through

Bartoli, a former Wall Street banker, relocated to Jupiter with his young family and caught the mini-golf bug badly enough to build Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf (two Jupiter locations) before founding PopStroke in 2018 around a simple gap: a place built for kids and the adults who brought them. The first PopStroke opened in Port St. Lucie in 2019; Tiger Woods came aboard as co-owner in 2020, with his TGR Design team reworking the courses, and the brand has since spread to Las Vegas, Arizona, Texas, and beyond. The company’s headquarters operations sit in Jupiter and Stuart, and the West Palm location alone planned to hire close to 200 people at opening — a homegrown brand scaling nationally from our backyard. (One local footnote from the opening coverage: a planned Wellington location was reported on hold — village readers, we’re watching that one.)

Part of Something Bigger: the County’s Golf-Entertainment Boom

PopStroke isn’t an isolated splash — it’s a wave. The self-styled golf capital of the world, home to well over a hundred courses and a famous cluster of tour pros, keeps adding tech-forward ways to play and watch: indoor simulator centers where you can play Pebble Beach from an air-conditioned bay, Drive Shack’s 96-bay tracked-range complex (open since 2019), and the headliner — the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, where the Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy-backed TGL league plays its televised seasons (we’ve covered that arena in its own spotlight). Bartoli told the Post the influx of companies and residents into the county — the same migration the Post has chronicled as “Wall Street South” — created the demand for exactly these gathering places.

The Real Estate Read

  • Amenities follow people: A $20 million entertainment flagship on airport land is a bet on the county’s population and income trajectory — the same in-migration thread running through our market coverage
  • The upscale turn is everywhere: From private clubs to putt-putt, the county’s offerings keep moving up-market — context worth knowing whether you’re buying a home or reading the area’s direction
  • Family-lifestyle fuel: Venues like this strengthen the everyday case for the communities around them — central WPB location means it serves the whole county, Wellington families included
  • Living in the golf capital: If the golf-everything lifestyle is part of your move, from fairway communities to weekend putt-offs with the kids — that’s our home turf, literally

Bottom Line

PopStroke West Palm Beach is what this county does best: take something familiar, raise the bar, and build it where everyone can reach it. It’s a great day out — and one more data point in the story buyers keep responding to. Want to live in the middle of all of it? Let’s talk.
