Palm Beach County is home to nearly 76,000 veterans. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County (HFHGPBC) runs an annual Veterans Build program designed to support veterans and active service members in achieving and maintaining homeownership — one of the most fundamental forms of financial stability available. The Veterans Build combines volunteer construction, community fundraising, and direct support for veterans navigating the transition to civilian life.
About the Veterans Build Program
The Veterans Build is HFHGPBC’s annual flagship event focused specifically on veteran homeownership in Palm Beach County. Multiple job sites operate across the county simultaneously, with volunteers, sponsors, and community members contributing directly to housing construction and renovation projects that benefit veterans and active service members.
The 2024 Veterans Build was presented by Vertical Bridge, marking their seventh consecutive year of sponsorship. The event included a post-build reception at the Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center.

- American Dream Fund: The dedicated fund for Veterans Build accepts donations year-round
