Wellington High School is the established community high school in the Village of Wellington, opened in 1988 at 2101 Greenview Shores Boulevard. Palm Beach Central High School opened in 2003 at 8499 West Forest Hill Boulevard and serves the western Wellington area. Dr. García is the new school, opened 2023 in Lake Worth, named for a Hispanic education leader.
The district publishes school grades on the Florida Department of Education report cards. Check the current grade for each school at fldoe.org before you let any agent's summary decide for you.
One more thing. School choice exists in Palm Beach County, but choice is not a guarantee. Seat availability, timing and your circumstances decide it. If you buy an address counting on a transfer, you're buying hope.
