What Is Known About Canter Wellington Today

Canter is a planned DiVosta community of 42 single-family homesites on about 22.5 acres near Lake Worth Road and 120th Avenue South in Wellington. Flexmls showed no Canter listings on October 17, 2026, and the builder's plans and homesite map had not been reported as released at last check.

The rest of this page sorts what has been reported from what has been confirmed, so you know what to ask the builder.

The two price points do not match. That is normal for a community that has not opened, and it is the reason not to plan around either number until DiVosta publishes its own.

What to Watch Out For

Now let me shoot you straight. Buyers in a community that has not opened tend to get three things wrong.

First, they anchor on the first price they read. The 2024 figure and the 2026 figure above are about half a million dollars apart. Ask for the builder's current starting price in writing.

Second, they treat an interest list as a reservation. It is not a contract and it is not a price lock. Ask what a spot on the list gets you and when plans and pricing will come out.

Third, they go to the sales office alone. The sales team works for the builder. Register with your own agent on the first visit.

What the Wellington Market Looks Like Around $1.5 Million and Up

Over the last 12 months 128 single-family homes in Wellington closed at $1,500,000 or more (Flexmls, October 17, 2025 to October 17, 2026). Today 14 single-family homes built in 2025 or 2026 are listed in Wellington at $1,500,000 or more, none of them in Canter. If you are weighing a home that is already built against one that is not, those are the homes to compare.

A community that is still pre-construction gives you a long runway to plan a sale, a mortgage and a move. Browse more builder communities on our Palm Beach County new construction page, or read our Olympia guide for an established Wellington community with recent sales.

Selling Your Current Home Too?

If a move to Canter means selling first, do not let the builder's timeline set yours. Builders release in phases, and your sale needs to land on your schedule, not theirs.

Plan the inspections before closing

For a home still being built, arrange an independent pre-drywall inspection when the builder permits access, then a final inspection before closing. For a completed home, inspect its actual condition and review any remaining warranty. Put an 11th-month warranty review on your calendar when the warranty terms make that timing appropriate.

Builder status checked October 24, 2026

DiVosta lists Canter as coming soon. The published Ellington, Aventura, Oakley and Livingston II plan pages show pricing coming soon. Do not treat earlier reported price ranges as a current builder quote or assume homes are delivering now.

Canter Wellington FAQ

Is Canter Wellington open for sales?+
I could not confirm that today. A local agent community page updated June 10, 2026 described Canter as coming soon and in pre-construction, and Flexmls shows no Canter listings. Our free buyer's guide, The Wilder Way to New Construction, shows what to ask before you sign anything, or call Brian Wilder at 561-201-4717 and I will check with the builder.

Near Lake Worth Road and 120th Avenue South in the Village of Wellington, according to the Wellington Town-Crier's November 2024 report on the land purchase.
Who is building Canter?+
DiVosta Homes. The 2024 Town-Crier report quoted Brent Baker, PulteGroup's South Florida division president, on the community.
How many homes are planned?+
42 single-family homesites on about 22.5 acres, per the 2024 Town-Crier report and a June 2026 agent page. Confirm with the builder.
What will homes in Canter cost?+
Not confirmed. The 2024 report said around $1.5 million. A local agent page updated June 10, 2026 showed the low $2 millions up to $3 million or more. Neither is a builder price list, so get the current number from DiVosta in writing.
Are there floor plans or HOA details?+
I have not seen either released. A June 2026 agent page said floor plans and homesite maps had not been released and gave no HOA dues. Treat any page claiming specifics as unverified until DiVosta publishes them.
